Located on the campus of the former base, Chanute Village offers 32 efficiency apartments specifically for those who served in the military.
Veterans that are independent and desire a quality living environment and social opportunities will find that Chanute Village has a lot to offer them.
Each apartment will feature an apartment-sized refrigerator and a microwave. Residents can purchase additional "meals to go" to enhance their lifestyle.
Housekeeping and other services will be offered a la carte.
Pricing is an affordable monthly rate of $800.00, which includes heat, water, electric, trash removal, and a FREE continental breakfast.
In order to quality for residency at Chanute Village:
- Veterans must meet independent living guidelines
- Financially qualify via the application/screening process
- Credit/criminal background check required
